Baseball at the 2004 Summer Olympics was held on two separate diamonds within the Helliniko Olympic Complex. For the second time in Olympic competition, professional baseball players were eligible to participate, though no active players from Major League Baseball were available

The Greek Post Office (ELTA) introduced 35 hand postmarks to celebrate the sporting disciplines of the 2004 Summer Olympic Games, which were available at Olymphilex from August 12-22, 2004. After 22 August, the postmarks were available from the Philatelic Centre in Athens
