I have the fortune to attend NY Comic Con. This year I came across the booth of S. Preston, a fantastic artist who creates minimalist stadium art and ballpark princesses. He was kind enough to draw his new original character that he hopes will help promote baseball to the girls who go to the game with their dads.
I am sure she will be affectionally called Konni Mac!

The Dodgers left when I was growing up, so I followed the Yankees and Berra was better known to me
I originally honored Berra with this cachet on the Campanella cover and have now truly been able to add Yogi

The Riversharks, having a rough season at 49-71, came back from a 4-2 deficit to force extra innings only to lose to the Sugar Land Skeeters, 5-4 in the 10th inning.
The Camden Riversharks were members of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, which is an independent league, from 2001- 2015. The team relocated as the New Britain Bees, New Britain, Ct. for the 2016 season. Campbell Field is located at the base of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge.
