Ted Williams Museum - Hitters Hall of Fame

1996-Feb-27 Hernando FL
Ted Williams Museum - Hitters Hall of Fame - Bevil cachet

The Ted Williams Museum and Hitters Hall of Fame opened in February 1994, in Hernando, Florida, in Citrus County—just a few blocks from the place where Williams lived in his later years.

In 2006, the museum and hall of fame were moved to Tropicana Field after its original facility in Hernando went bankrupt. As of 2025 the museum was closed

1995 - 20 legends of baseball history have the distinction of being the first group to be inducted into the Hitters Hall of Fame at the Ted Williams Museum. They were selected by Ted Williams himself who used his own "secret formula" to determine who should be honored.
