St Vincent and the Grenadines, former British colony in the Winward Islands, has produced stamps since 1861. these featured the British monarchs head or the ER Mongram and crown until 1970. Stamps were then printed with "St. Vincent" until 1992 when stamps began carrying the "St. Vincent and the Grenadines" title

Since 1988 the country has been client of the Inter-Governmental Philatelic Corporation (IGPC), which has been criticized for inappropriate (stamp subjects not related to the country) and excessive issues. The IGPC represents over 70 different countries

Cracker Jack Classic - Old-Timers Day

The New York Yankees held the first ballpark celebration to honor their former colleagues, the first being in 1939 in honor of Lou Gehrig. A tradition was born - The Old-timers Game, a celebration to give the fans an opportunity to cheer on there heroes from the past.

From 1982-1985, an Old-Timers Classic was sponsored by Cracker Jack, being played at RFK Stadium, Washington DC. The inaugural game was played on July 19, 1982, featuring players that included Hank Aaron, Warren Spahn, Luke Appling, Johnny Mize, Stan Musial, Don Newcombe, Enos Slaughter, Bob Feller, Ralph Kiner. The tradition old-timers day as started by the Yankees was a 2-inning event where the players had fun, and provided an exhibition for the fans.  the Cracker jack game, was a 5-inning game following the traditional rules. The games were broadcast on ESPN
The game had the support of the Association of Professional Ball Players of America, but not from Major League Baseball.  Players were simple American or National uniforms without any MLB logos

Subsequent games were played on July 18, 1983; July 2, 1984 and July 1, 1985

Bob Feller

As a 17-year old, Bob Feller made his debut with the Cleveland Indians, as he struck out eight St Louis Cardinals in a July 1936 exhibition game. Following this Feller struck out 15 St Louis Browns batters in August. In September Feller struck out 17 Philadelphia Athletics. With a 100-mph fastball Feller would earn the nickname "Rapid Robert"

Feller was named to the Baseball Writers Association of America as the Sporting News All-Star teams 1939-1941, 1946-1947.
Pitched 3 no-hit games, named Player of the Year 1940, pitched 12 one-hit games.

1990 a committee was formed in Feller's hometown of Van Meter, Ia to establish a museum in honor of their hometown hero. Feller would serve as Grand Marshall of the Fireman's Kids Day in June.
1994 ground breaking for the museum took place and the museum officially opened June 10, 1995.
