Forbes Field - Pittsburgh
1909, in the first season playing at Forbes, the Pirates deleted the Detroit Tigers in the World Series.
August 5, 1921, KDKA radio had the first live radio broadcast of a MLB game, when Harold W Arlin announced the play-by-play between the Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies.
May 25, 1935, Babe Ruth hit his last 3 career home runs, playing for the Boston Braves in a losing effort against the Pirates
Forbes Field was also home to the Pittsburgh Steelers (NFL), Pittsburgh Panthers (University of Pittsburgh - NCAA), Homestead Grays (Negro Leagues), Pittsburgh Americans (AFL) and Pittsburgh Phantoms (NPSL)
