Excellent art on this postcard, postmarked from Denver, Co Oct 6, 1911. The Official mailing scorecard either came from the team to inform fans of their status or for fans to send to other fans, not sure of the ultimate purpose. The address was removed, however their was no game information

The Denver Bears (Grizzlies, Mountaineers or Mountain Lions through their existence), were a minor league team playing in the Colorado State League, and then the Western League. The team was founded in 1885

The ART was involved with the PGA bringing the Championship to Manito Country Club in 1944 and the Esmeralda Open in 1943 at Downriver in 1934; Indian Canyon 1945 and 1947. US Women's Open at the Spokane Country Club 1946

Los Angeles Dodgers - Dodgertown


March 17, 2008 the Los Angeles Dodgers  played their final game at Holman Stadium, Dodgertown, Vero Beach, Fl. The facility served as the spring training home to the Dodgers for 61 years. The official date of termination for use of the facility was July 14, 2008

The Dodgers resumed spring training on March 1, 2009 at Camelback Ranch - Glendale, Phoenix, Az. Spring training facility for both the Dodgers and Chicago White Sox

November 2018, Major League baseball announced plans to renovate the facility, which will be remanded the Jackie Robinson Training Complex

On June 6 the Dodgers were home against the Philadelphia Phillies, taking the game 3-2
