The inaugural College World Series was played in 1947 at Haymes Field, Kalamazoo, Mich. In 1949 the tournament was moved to Wichita, Kansas. In 1950 the tournament again moved this time to Rosenblatt Stadium, Omaha, Nebraska and saw a total attendance of 17, 805 fans. In 2011 the game has been played at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha.

Babe Ruth Baseball
The Babe Ruth League is an international youth baseball and softball league. The league was founded with 10-teams in 1951 and has steadily increased it's membership to include 60,000+ teams.
The league consists five divisions: Cal Ripken Baseball (ages 4-12) Babe Ruth Baseball (13-18) Babe Ruth Softball (4-18) Bambino Buddy Ball )5-20) Xtreme Fastpitch (6-18)

Robin Yount
Robin Yount spent his entire 20-year career playing shortstop and centerfield for the Milwaukee Brewers (1974-1993). Career batting average .285, hits 3,142 (the above cover commemorates his 3,000 hit on Sept 9, 1982), Home runs 251, RBI 1,406.
Milwaukee Brewers retired his jersey #19 on May 29, 1994
