The Hilldale Athletic Club (Darby Daisies) were a Negro league baseball team based in Darby, Pa. Established in 1910, the Daises became one of the powerhouse teams of the league, winning the first three Eastern Colored League pennants, winning the 2nd Colored World Series. The club incorporated in 1916 as Hilldale Baseball and Exhibition Company, and hired established ballplayers
Hall of Fame player Judy Johnson played 12 of this 15 years with the Hilldale Club, along with Oscar Charleston, Biz Mackey, Louis Santop, Jesse "Nip" Winters, Chaney White
