In order to promote and public sports activities, a set of three stamps was issued at the inauguration of the Pacific Region Competition of the 1971 Little League World Series, which were held in Taiwan.
The stamps were designed by Wen Hsueh-ju and feature uniform designs of the Golden Dragons winners of the 1969 Little League World Series
