Chicago Cubs: MiLB Affiliates

The Centralia Cubs, Centralia, Illinois played in the Illinois State League (1947-1948) and the Mississippi-Ohio Valley League (1949-1952). This two leagues would eventually become the Midwest League.

Central played for 6-seasons, and were directly affiliated with the Chicago Cubs in 1947-1948. Home games were played at Fan's Field.

July 8, 1950: Gene Pisarski threw a no-hit game agasint the West Frankfort Cardinals, winning the game 6-0

Midland Cubs

The Midland RockHounds were previously known as both the Midland Cubs (1972–1984) and Midland Angels (1985–1998). While Midland has been the Double-A affiliate of the Oakland A's since 1999, they were affiliated with the Chicago Cubs from 1972 to 1984, and then with the California Angels from 1985 to 1998

Daytona Cubs - 1993

Prior to 1993, the Chicago Cubs were affiliated with the Winston Salem Warthogs, a Class A team that played in the Carolina League. At the end of the 1992 season, the Cubs decided to move their Class A affiliate to Florida. The Florida State League originally assigned the transplanted Cubs team to play at Baseball City Stadium in Davenport. However, Jordan Kobritz, the new owner and general manager of the minor league franchise, wanted the team to play in Daytona Beach instead.

Indianapolis - second-oldest minor league franchise in American professional baseball (after the Rochester Red Wings). The team originated in 1902 as members of the American Association (AA), which was an independent league at the time but was granted Class A status in 1903.

Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, and play their home games at Victory Field, which opened in 1996. The Indians previously played at Owen J. Bush Stadium from 1931 to 1996 and at two versions of Washington Park from 1902 to 1931

Baseball began playing in Burlington in 1889 as the Burlington Babies. Teams with various nicknames played until the Burlington Pathfinders were named in 1906, keeping the nickname until 1916 and playing in the Central Association. After a hiatus, the Burlington Bees played in the Mississippi Valley League from 1924 to 1932. The franchise then returned as the Burlington Indians in 1947. They won the league championship in 1949, their third and final year in the Central Association. The team joined the Three-I (Illinois, Iowa, Indiana) League in 1952 as the Burlington Flints but was renamed the Bees in 1954. Burlington joined the Midwest League in 1962 as a farm team of the Pittsburgh Pirates. From 1963 through 1974 they were a farm team of the Kansas City (later Oakland) A's; subsequent affiliations included the Brewers (1975–81), Rangers (1982–85), Expos (1986–87 and 1993–94), Braves (1988–90), Astros (1991–92), Giants (1995–96), Reds (1997–98), and White Sox (1999–2000).

Utica's first baseball team took the field in 1878. Utica fielded a team in the New York State League from 1899–1917, then was without professional baseball until 1939, except for one year, 1924, when the Utica Utes, a member of an earlier edition of the New York–Pennsylvania League, moved to Oneonta, New York, in midseason

1981-1995 the Blue Sox were resurrected in the Short-Season A classification New York–Penn League, affiliated with the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago White Sox and Boston Red Sox

Glens Falls Tigers - MiLB

The team was founded in 1980 as the Glens Falls White Sox, the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. In 1986, the team affiliated with the Detroit Tigers and changed their name to Glens Falls Tigers to reflect the new affiliation. After the 1988 season, the franchise moved to London, Ontario. and became the London Tigers in 1989. The franchise relocated to Trenton, New Jersey, as the Trenton Thunder in 1994.
