1980 Phoenix Giants
The Phoenix Giants were a Minor League Baseball team affiliated with the Major League Team the San Francisco Giants. They played from 1958-59 and 1966-1997. In 1986 they changed their names to the Phoenix Firebirds. The team left Phoenix with the addition of the Major League team the Arizona Diamondbacks and moved to Tucson, forming the Tucson Sidewinders and becoming affiliated with the Diamondbacks.
