Every year Judy Johnson is honored with the same postmark from Wilmington, De
Johnson played for the Hillsdale Club, Homestead Grays and Pittsburgh Crawfords in the Negro Leagues from 1921-1936.
Considered to be one of the great third basemen, he was elected into the National Baseball hall of Fame in 1975.
Johnson was inducted into the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame and the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame.

over the years the design of the Johnson postmark has changed a little. In 2002 "Honoring Jackie Robinson" was added.
A statue of Johnson is located outside of Frawley Stadium, Wilmington, De and the field was renamed in his honor.
