Carlton Fisk played for the Boston Red Sox (1969, 1971-1980) and the Chicago White Sox (1981-1993) for a 24-year career.

Fisk was unanimously voted American League Rookie of the Year 1972. At the time of his retirement he held the record for most home runs by a catcher with 351, most games played at the position of catcher 2,226, and most years behind the plate with 24.
